NICU - Day 21 (Part I)

Date: December 13th

Gestational Date: 31 weeks 1 day

So... In the waiting room again. They told us yesterday that the earliest for the surgery today would be 9 am. We were still in Maddie's room at 12:30 pm. They were finally arriving with the surgical instruments at that time. Today it is just Mom, Sarah and I. I feel bad that other people are waiting for news and we are unable to give it because we have no news regarding her surgery.

Her lung is still collapsed. It is starting to look better according to the doctors and nurses but I see not a lot of change on the x-rays. Her labs look really good though.
