Gestational Age: 31 weeks 6 days
Madelyn had a big moving day! She moved back to Bay 2 and then moved again later in the day to a bigger room in Bay 2. She likes her new room and especially likes that it has a door. It seems to be one of the largest rooms in Bay 2.

Maddie also had a photo shoot with the nurses this morning. She got pictures inside her stocking with her Santa hat from Grandma Ann on. (I only have the physical pictures of this and no scanner, so sorry!)
This morning's x-ray still shows a collapsed right lung, so she has spent much of her day on her left side. Dan and I were a bit concerned because her tummy looked a little puffy, but they did an x-ray of her stomach and labs tonight, which both came back normal.
So happy to hear Maddie is getting stronger! What an amazing little girl! The road to recovery may have some rough patches, but she sure has the fighting spirit to persevere! ReplyDeleteShe's actually on her side. It is supposed to help her open up her lung, but hasn't really worked that well yet. I can't wait until we can start tummy time, but doubt that will be for awhile.
